How it works
Assessment and credential
Capstone project and panel discussion
Assessment combines the enterprise AI strategy blueprint capstone with a panel discussion. The completed capstone is reviewed by AAAI, followed by a structured discussion with a panel where participants present and defend their strategic recommendations. Both components must be completed for certification. See the AAAI Examination Policy for full details.
AI Principal digital badge
Successful completion earns the AI Principal digital badge at the executive tier of the AAAI pathway. The credential is shareable on LinkedIn and professional profiles and confirms structured, assessed capability in enterprise AI strategy, governance architecture, and board-level AI leadership.
Choosing the right level
